Life Groups
Life Groups are the backbone of Freedom House Church. We believe real church, real fellowship and real growth take place in Life Groups, in a way they never could at a Sunday service. They're a vital part of the everyday lives of men and women who follow Jesus Christ. That's why we've intentionally created safe small group environments where you can engage in a lifestyle of authentic community and spiritual growth.
Our Life Groups are free-market style: There are four main categories of groups, and you're free to attend any style and number of groups. The categories are:
- Bible Study. This style of group will use a Bible-based curriculum to study a particular topic (such as marriage, leadership, etc.)
- Fellowship. These groups connect based on their common affinity for a particular hobby, or their common life circumstances.
- Outreach. Outreach groups serve the community, either by connecting with various agencies to volunteer, or by coming up with their own way to love and help those in need.
- Recreation. These groups connect based on a common recreational activity.
Meeting times/locations are determined by the group leader. These groups make it easy to make connections, develop friendships, find accountability, and have fun! They can also be a great entry point for friends, family, neighbors, and/or co-workers who don't have a relationship with Jesus Christ. We encourage you to dive in and connect with as many groups as appeal to you.
